How many times must an individual register to use Exam Master OnLine?
Registration to a specific portal is a one-time process. If a user needs to have their account transferred to a different portal, contact Customer Service at customerservice@exammaster.com to request the account to be transferred to a different portal. 

If I forget my password must I reregister?
No.  Click "Forgot your Password" link on the login page and your password will be e-mailed to the e-mail address that was provided when you first registered for Exam Master OnLine.

How do I change / update my registration information?
Select "My Account" from the top right, and then "My Info", then choose the link to what you wish to change/update.

Can I share my login and password with a friend?
Each person who registers to Exam Master OnLine agrees to the Exam Master OnLine licensing agreement.  Sharing of your login and password are in violation of the licensing agreement and can result in denial of access to Exam Master OnLine. If access is shared, the scoring history loses its ability to measure an individual’s strengths and weaknesses since test results and answers will be intermixed between multiple users.

Can I access Exam Master OnLine from any computer with an Internet connection?
Yes. Exam Master OnLine is accessible from any Internet connection on any computer worldwide. Certain Institutional Clients have chosen to institute IP address restrictions to their portal; if you receive an error message regarding unauthorized IP address, please contact your portal administrator.

What do I do if I have a problem using Exam Master OnLine?
Help text is available throughout Exam Master OnLine. To access Help simply click “?” on each page at the top right. Online tutorials are available in system by clicking on the “Tutorial” button located on the left navigation bar.

Who writes the questions that are contained in the database?
EXAM MASTER questions and explanations have been carefully constructed by health sciences specialists including scientists (PhDs, MDs), physicians (MDs), and other academic and clinical specialists and faculty (MA & MS degrees).  These professionals are associated with or received their training in some of the finest medical schools and academic health centers in the country, A list of authors is available in EM OnLine under the “About” tab in system, or here on our official website.

Can I Pause an exam?
Yes, a user can pause any exam that they have created. For an exam assigned by a faculty member in Academic Manager®, the exam administrator determines if an exam can be paused.

I found a question that I believe has a medical or technical flaw. How can I report this?
Exam Master OnLine has a feature that allows you to send feedback directly from the question screen by clicking on the “text bubble” on the top right.

How do I see the correct answer?
The correct answer is viewable in the study mode. You can take the test first, and then review the test by choosing Study. Your answers will be shown during the study session; or in Study mode, the system will indicate immediately if the correct answer has been chosen. 

Are explanations available?
Yes, explanations are available in Study mode.

Can I delete exams from the "My Exams" menu that I no longer wish to see?
You have the option to delete exams that you have created. All score reports for this exam will no longer be available.

Can I print exams?
No, printing exams is not allowed by an Exam Master OnLine individual user.

I am unable to see images associated with questions while using Exam Master OnLine. How can this be resolved?
Make sure pop ups are not blocked. If you have disabled pop ups, allow them for Exam Master OnLine.

Why does my Internet seem slow?
There are many factors that can cause the Internet to slow down. Before a page shows on your monitor, the route the data follows can be a long route.  Internet connections sometimes route pieces of the web page over slower connections once the server sends the page.  Interference to the connection could be on another line in your home, at the phone company, or at the cable company.  If your computer is multi-tasking, such as running a print job, the loading of the page on your machine may take longer.  It is not always possible to determine why the time varies that it takes to view a web page. Being a shared resource, the internet requires a great many pieces to work together. Different brands, makes, and models of computers, cables, fiber optics, and satellite links must all mesh together to deliver the web page.  If you do have concerns about Exam Master® running slowly, or problems logging in on your computer, please contact our technical support team ( support@exammaster.com ).
