Introduction:

This document explains various Score Reports provided to Faculty within the Exam Master system. An example is also given for each report. Many Faculty find our Score Reports extremely useful to assess student knowledge and progress.

Statistics and Summaries:

Stats and SummariesThis report shows the statistics broken down in ranges as well as the mean, median, maximum, minimum and range of the overall exam scores.

The report also shows a break down for each student:   their score and the number of correct answers.

Examinee Exam Breakdown

 

Also available in this report is a breakdown of each examinees performance by topic. To access this report, simply click on the student’s name.

Advanced Statistics:

Advanced StatsAdvanced exam statistics are available for all exams. The stats available are: Variance (σ2) , Standard Deviation (σ) ,  Standard Error (SEχ) ,  Coefficient of Variation (Cν) ,  Degree of Skewness (γ1) ,  Degree of Kurtosis (γ2) , KR-21 Reliability Index ,  KR-20 Reliability Index ,  Cronbach's Alpha Index (α).

Group Topic Summary:

Group Topic Report

 

This report shows the Group topic/Subject Breakdown for the Exam.  Multi-discipline Exams can now offer separate grades for each examinee.

To determine each examinees grade for each topic, click on the View all Users link. You can review the scores for each topic and subject by clicking on the appropriate link.

Scores by Question:

Scores by QuestionThis report shows the individual question breakdown – topic, subject, category if using Exam Master Questions (or if using faculty authored questions, QGroupSet, QGroup, QGroupNote)  – the number of correct and wrong answers, the percent of correct answers, the point biserial and standard deviation for each question. This report allows faculty to remove a question(s) from an exam and have the exam automatically recalculated.  The recalculate button appears on the right of the question on the report page. Clicking on the question number in the report will open the question for review.

Scores by Examinee:

This report gives a list of all examinees, their score, how many they got correct and what answer is correct (C) and wrong (X).  Clicking on the question number in the report will open the question so that it can be reviewed.

This report shows the answer choice each examinee made. Clicking on the question number in the report will open the question for review.

Item Analysis:

Item Analysis

 

This report gives the faculty details on each question: the total group answer choices, the upper and lower quartile answer choices, the correct answer, the percentage each distractor was chosen, the standard deviation, point biserial, total % correct, upper % correct, lower % correct for each question. Clicking on the question number in the report will open the question for review.

Examinee Reports are also available:

These reports give you an individual’s synopsis of their performance. You can review the exams that the individual has created and taken in their own studies as well as all faculty assigned exams. Choosing the examinee from the Alphabetical list, you can review their exam history. You can choose the date range that you wish to review, as well as choose to review faculty assigned exams or examinee created exams, or all exams.

All Exam Subject Summary

 

This report gives faculty a combined synopsis of student performance. This combines all exams taken, separates the results by outline, topic and category for a concise view of an individual’s strengths and weaknesses.
