CME Needs

The continuing medical education activities presented here seek to address the practicing physicianneed for excellence in clinical practice and / or management. The ultimate intent is the pursuit of both improved patient care and professional satisfaction.

Target Audience

The CME activity is intended for all physicians and other health professionals with an interest in the improvement of their clinical skills and/or practice management. It is relevant to all health care providers who provide primary/ ambulatory urgent care medicine.

Accreditation

The American Academy of Urgent Care Medicine (AAUCM) is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) to provide continuing medical education for physicians.

Credit Designation

The AAUCM designates this educational activity for a maximum of 40 AMA PRA Category 1 Credit(s) per year. Physicians should only claim credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activities.

* American Medical Association Physicians Recognition Award.  The AMA PRA Category 1 Credit system has become the CME standard for licensing boards and specialty organizations nationwide and is recognized by all U.S. jurisdictions.
